Launched at 14:25 Hrs to a 26ft potter with 1 person on board. In position 52˚ 09’N and 006˚ 31’W. with a fouled prop, towed the vessel back to K.Q.

Paged at 10:54 hrs and launched to a 26 foot fishing vessel with two people on board in a position 7 miles South East of Kilmore Quay. The vessel's propeller had become fouled in debris. Towed the vessel back to Kilmore Quay.
30th November 2009
Paged at 23:19 hrs and launched to assist in the search for a person that had fallen overboard from the Rosslare to Fishguard Ferry close Tuskar rock. A body was recovered by the Kilmore Quay lifeboat in the vicinity of Carnsore point at 00:30 hrs. The body was brought ashore to Rosslare Harbour at the request of the Coastguard. The lifeboat returned to Kilmore Quay at 03:00 hrs.

Paged at 06:35 hrs and launched to a 24 foot fishing vessel with two people on board in position 52˚ 09’N and 006˚ 28’W. Towed the vessel back to Kilmore Quay.
2nd November 2009
Launched at 10:04 hrs to assist a 26 foot potter with 2 persons on board, which had suffered main engine failure when fishing ten miles ESE of Kilmore Quay.Towed the vessel back to K.Q.

The RNLI's coastal review delegation visited Kilmore Quay Lifeboat Station today to review search and rescue requirements at the station in to the future. Coastal reviews are carried out every five years.

Launched at 03:25 hrs to assist a 28 foot German yacht with 1 person on board that had ran aground at the Harbour entrance. pulled the yacht off on the rising tide and put in berth on the Marine.
13th September 2009
Launched at 08:23 hrs to assist a 32 foot potter with 1 person on board, that was taking on water 1.5 miles South East of the Little Saltee Island. Got the situation under control and towed the vessel back to K.Q.
10th September 2009
Launched at 10:03 hrs to assist a 20 foot potter with 2 persons on board, that had suffered a mechanical failure 1.5 miles South East of the Little Saltee Island. Towed vessel back to K.Q.

A ceremony to unveil the RNLI memorial sculpture took place at RNLI HQ in poole, to serve as a permanent reminder and mark of respect to all Lifeboat personal who have lost their lives while on service. Included on the memorial is Fintan Sinnott of Kilmore Quay.

Launched at 0409 hrs to a 35 foot Yacht with 4 persons on board, 1/2 a mile North of Black rock with it's propeller fouled in pot lines. Escorted vessel back to K.Q.

Launch at 14:23 Hrs to assist a 30 foot Potter with 1 person on board, 4 miles South West of Kilmore Quay. Towed vessel back to port. While on passage to the original casualty, the lifeboat rendered assistance to another vessel with 1 person on board in the Saltee Island area.

Launch at 17:41 Hrs to assist a 55 foot fishing vessel with 3 persons on board, 7 miles South East of Kilmore Quay. Towed vessel back to port.

11th August 2009
Launched at 17:01 Hrs to a light aircraft with 1 person on board which ditched into the sea near Tuskar rock. The pilot of the light plane was recorved by the Coastguard Helicopther Rescue 117 and transfered to Waterford Regional Hosiptal as a precaution. The wreckage of the plane was towed ashore by the Rosslare Harbour Lifeboat.

Launched at 1556 hrs to assist a 38 foot Dutch yacht with 3 persons on board, 1/2 mile off Forlorn point without power, Towed vessel back to K.Q.
14th June 2009
Launched at 1304 hrs to assist a 25 foot pleasure vessel with 3 persons on board, which had machinery failure just off the ring at the Great Saltee Island. Towed vessel back to K.Q.
Launched at 1440 hrs to a yacht that was anchored in shallow water and in danger of going aground at low water.Located owner on the Great Saltee, advised to change anchorage.

Launched at 04:23 Hrs to a 30ft yacht with 4 persons on board, in a position 35 miles SE of Kilmore Quay. Put a lifeboat crewman on board the yacht and towed the vessel back to K.Q. Getting back at 12:15 hrs.
28th APRIL 2009
Launched at 13:26 Hrs to assist in the search for a missing person. A body was recorved. May they rest in peace.

Mobile Training Unit 7(MTU) with instructor Ken Booth arrived in Kilmore Quay to carry out refresher training for Coxswains and Navigators in Electronic navigation using Radar and the Laser plot Chart system over the next 10 evenings.
